Climate Changers is an early-stage nonprofit initiative founded by Asher and Kirsten Miller, who were deeply affected by "An Inconvenient Truth."  The film inspired them to find ways to address their personal role  in the climate crisis, and to help others.  Their motivation can be summed up in one word: “Avi.”

Asher has worked in various capacities in the nonprofit sector since 1996, most recently at the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, managing the county's largest youth leadership and community service program.  Previously he served as Partnership Director at Plugged In, International Production Coordinator at Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation, ghostwriter for a Holocaust survivor, and as a consultant for a number of other nonprofit groups.  He recently served as a member of Senator John Edwards' Cleantech / Green Business Advisory Committee.  You can get more information about Asher's professional experience by visiting his LinkedIn profile.

Kirsten helped found and served as the Executive Director of School Garden Network, which provides garden and nutrition based learning programs for students at over 20 Sonoma County schools.  Prior to moving to Santa Rosa, she worked in the technology industry, first at World Online in the Netherlands and then as Marketing Communication Specialist at GetThere.

Climate Changers is currently a fiscally-sponsored program of Climate Protection Campaign.
